You need an official document from the bank: Bank Statement. In the checklist it specifically states: "do not submit a copy of your transactions". It has to be a bank statement... Hope this helps Regards

I have been told paper is better... in my case it was better because they have a set waiting time of 30-40 days processing and it does not vary, I was able to submit as many documents as I wanted and I did not have to have my documents translated, so I was able to submit them in the original...

Yes, it is normal to get the emails like that. The emails do not necessarily reflect the updated status of your application, but they will arrive like that... it is better if you link your application to the online tracking engine from CIC rather that checking the VFS site... the CIC is more...

The advertised times are just average processing times since they receive all the documents. It means that some applications take longer than others and that time is from the last requested document. So, it should be somewhere around the advertised...

VFS is just the office where you submit your application, but it is processed by CIC, so they are the ones that request the medical exams and any other documents...

Yes, I also know it should be kept to a minimum, no longer than 1.5 pages. But it should not be boring. It is not the same reading 1 very boring page than 3 very interesting pages... I mean that the better you do it the more chances, even if you can't keep it that short...
