Can't lay the blame Senator Eaton totally on delay - the government cant be that helpless!!! they are in majority and despite Senate separate etc etc etc........I am sure they can exert some influence....something seems to be happening....wonder whether they are amending it especially if Senator...

We should write to Senator Eaton and can say that we share some of her concerns re - terrorism etc, but that we are all genuine residents of this country and that we were so unfairly affected by bill C 24 - especially those of us who got our PR earlier and that it is a second class citizenship...

Wrong because, our PR renewal came back in exactly two months

It has to complete second reading in Senate, then sent to committee, then changes tabled and third reading, and voted for and thereafter Royal Assent. Long way more to go
