Just because they haven't sent anybody to physically remove you from the country doesn't mean it won't happen. My friend does this for a living. That letter was your first warning. If you don't leave, or you try to "disappear" by stopping working, removing your name from all your bills, etc...

Are you living in Canada? When you log into eCAS do you see Application Received and Medicals received for your partner? Mine took about 10 days to deliver as well. The call centre can't tell you if you are approved but they can tell you if your file was forwarded to your VO which would indicate SA.
