it sounds like a DM regarding the sponsorship application. The sponsor will receive a letter in the mail soon I guess as it was mailed on Dec 4th

don't despair. We got our PPR Sept 26 so it was a month b4 it changed to In Process. I bet you get DM any day!

Yes it did shortly after we got In Process which was Oct 15th. I think we saw it on there on Oct 18th. You will be soon

My wife who is American has same the same status update. Just different dates. We are not sure exactly when it was updated either but a week or so previous on Sept 25 she got an email requesting a copy of her US passport to finish processing her application. Then on Nov 7th she got another email...

I've read somewhere in the forum that the post office doesn't forward COPR mail. Maybe the envelope says do not forward, but I don't know for sure.

I'm pretty sure a Cdn Citizen is not required to have a police clearance to return home. Only the applicant for PR needs to provide police clearances for all the countries they lived in. In your case that is your spouse who you are applying to sponsor. CIC looks at your application to sponsor...

thanks! After you get your COPR in the mail you get to "land" in Canada. If you are already in Canada, and near the border you can do what is called flagpoling. Cross over and then come back in and land. They will give u a copy of the COPR with the pic and u will get the PR card in the mail...

Sounds like it. I think it would be a good idea to fax a copy of the receipt you get when you pay your fee online along with the copy of your passport. Are you from the US? Are you sure it's CIC Scarborough that you are supposed to fax your passport to? I didn't know there was a CIC Scarborough...
