if she is staying on the airplane and doesn't have to go through immigration line in Vancouver it sounds like she will land in Toronto. If you want to be 100% certain ask the airline if she has to go through immigration before departing Vancouver.

AOR means Acknowlegement of Receipt. So the email you got is that. It means we received the application.

whoops it took 15 min to land at Canadian border not hours! My wife says it was actually 3 hours to get across the border into US from Canada. Lots of BC residents shopping in Bellingham WA today I think ....I have my NEXUS card and we are soooo applying for hers!! Lmao :) so happy to be over...

passport request usually goes to PR applicant, it's that persons passport being requested. If the applicant gave an email address the request would prob go to that email address. It also go by mail, no strict rule either way.

same deal for us when they did the PPR they said the same thing about interview.

ours was longer than most because we forgot to submit immigration photos with our application. They didn't notice or request until after our PPR .

It also depends on whether they request additional information after requesting pass port or copy of passport. Ours took over 2 months but we had to redo the photos.

If they want the actual passport they will request it. If only a copy is needed, they will request a copy and tell you which pages they want. Someone from a Visa Exempt country like the US only needs to send a copy of picture page and various pages that have been stamped for entry and exist...
