You and your spouse need a valid visa to re enter Canada. Does not matter single/multiple entry.

Try contacting ur home country consulate in the city you are living.

Does the name in matriculation certificate matches with the passport. If so, just send a copy of your matriculation certificate along with a cover letter either by mail or fax.

Yes, they introduced this fee on Feb 21st. I am not sure about the date. It was around that time.

Go to your MP's office and ask them to do the follow up with CIC. They usually get the response back from CIC in 48 hours.

The doctor uploaded the result in one week. my ecas got updated after 2 weeks of receiving the result. But I called cic call center before ecas updated and the agent said, medical is passed. So, I am assuming, ecas does not get updated frequently.

I did it on Tuesday and they uploaded the result by next Tuesday. So its 7 business days.

If you applied under CEC, then all the documentation should be submitted to Ottawa. The CEC applications get processed at Ottawa, regardless the country of residence..
