Hi, Whats the passport stamping timeline for New Delhi office. My spouse submitted his passport at VFS office on April 06. Its been more than 2 weeks and the status show, Its being processed at new delhi visa office.

Its IMM5257. Login to your MyCIC account and then click on application for study,work and visitor link. You will be asked to fill a questionnaire to check the eligibility. Once you are eligible, it will prompt you to the page where you will find the list of documents to be uploaded.

Its a third party who collects the passport or other immigration application on behalf of Canadian embassy in India. I am not sure if you can even mail your passport directly to CIC New Delhi. You need to go to the VFS close to your city and submit your passport there. You need to pay some fee...

I asked the officer that my spouse in India is still waiting for passport and CoPR and then I was told this thing. The officer also said, since I already did my landing. Now she will send the email to the visa office to process visa for my spouse.

Someone from the CIC office called me on Monday and next day they sent me the email confirmation.

Did my landing today at CIC office. I was told by the officer, the primary applicant has the do the landing first in order for dependents to get the visa and CoPR. She also mention, she will sent the email to the visa office to issue the visa and CoPR for my dependents.

Try option 1-2-0. I called CIC to book the appointment on 10th April and got the appointment for 16th April. Did my landing today at CIC office etobicoke(Toronto).

Thanks rks0101, My only concern is, me landing before my spouse getting his passport and CoPR will not cause any issue for my spouse.

You can order the GCMS notes and also sent an email for the confirmation of addition of your spouse to the application.
