First it was Mississauga then now as of Aug 1 its Manila VO now.

My partner is an April 17 applicant. Last we heard was AOR2 Aug 5 then a ghost update on the 20th. So far things have been consistently moving slowly, the most time not hearing from Ircc so far was 1.5 months

That's great! It's the second time I experienced it in the entire process. Last time was 2-3weeks before forward and AOR2. Will do!

I logged into my gckey account and the status of my linked pr application under current status said "Application/profile updated" when I checked to see what had changed, it appeared unchanged. At least I know someone from IRCC end accessed my application.

Got and update August 1st and 5th. Forwarded to Manila VO and AOR2. PA is USA and last update before that was mid June transfer to Mississauga. Goodluck!

Mine says background check is in progress...I get that.. But that's what it's said since day 1. Or maybe I can't tell the difference. Like when my medical showed up a date popped up next to "You passed your medical" so I was thinking something similar would be reflected for the background check...

Does anyone have a screen shot sample of gckey or some kind of email letter showing clear statement that "we have started processing PA background check.."?? Hows is the PA usually informed when it has started? Thanks

Bio and Medicals and everything moving forward will either go to the PA's email or the PA's GCKey account if you've linked the application. After you have received sponsor approval email or letter, thats probably the last time you will receive anything on Sponsors end.

Just wear anything with a collar for bio and dont wear flip flops.. Bio = fingerprints and photo Medical = blood work, chest xray, general check up (eye vision, heartbeat count, blood pressure) These are being done by 3rd parties accredited by the IRCC so you wont be actually meeting anyone...

Give it 1 to 2 days.. We just received our Sponsorship Eligibility approval letter today however ecas system displayed "Decision Made" 3 days ago. Its more important that your application shows up on the system then receiving the actual AOR from my experience so far. Goodluck!
