Thanks for the reply Alish. So if you don't declare for tax purposes, then I guess you don't have to for OSAP as well. My status for OSAP still says single, I was having a little panic attack whether to change it or not, but I guess that makes sense.

While we're on the topic of OSAP. do you declare you're married or single until your spouse gets to Canada? If you declare that you are married, OSAP will ask for spousal income, sin card, etc... How am I suppose to give them such information when my spouse does not live in Canada yet until he...

IrinaAbdNova I applied for OSAP as well, I don't believe it is a problem. Just because you are a sponsor it doesn't mean you cannot attend school at the same time... Someone correct me if I'm wrong?

We got an AOR from Vienna office on July 11 it says if we don't hear anything from them in 3 months time to contact the office. Does anyone have an idea how much longer it will take to get approved from the date of the AOR?

I tried.. nothing works. My file's been transfered to the VO office.. does that mean everything will be updated in the immigration file number that my husband got from now on? or do they still update the UCI? If the VO updates status' in the immigration file then I don't need the UCI anyway...

I was just wondering, once you're approved as a sponsor and your application transfers to a VO, can they still ask for extra evidence of a genuine relationship, or photos, or documents.. and can they refuse the visa?

I just got off the phone with an agent and they FINALLY informed me that my application was approved on June 5th... They gave me a client ID number however it is not working? has this happened to anyone else.. the client ID number consists of 8 numbers!! I am so relieved.. Cannot believe it. :)
