Everybody be quite, I got my test & oath note after 5 months

Ha ha ha! It will all look like a joke 1 yr after! The question is really good one. It may be better to post as a new thread in the forum to attract some seniors attention! Just my suggestion :)

Everybody be quite, I got my test & oath note after 5 months

My test was quite good. Me and my wife gave it in same batch (family application). We both got different set of questions. Hers was more focussed on history with years etc! Many people told us not to worry about history, dates etc. Thankfully, we studied our bit. We both scored 20/20. The test...

    Winnipeg - 2017 Citizenship Applicants

I feel for you guys! The waiting time is so frustrating especially when we see other files being processed. Just hang in there. Someone shared over weekend that they got test & oath invite together for same day after waiting for 5 months. Hopefully the officers are similarly generous on your file.

    Winnipeg - 2017 Citizenship Applicants

We reached around 7:50/7:55; and went to the4th floor. They had waiting chairs in the common area. We weren't let in the office till the scheduled time. Reaching early just helped us get parking easily and avoid the slow traffic at peak hour due to rain showers and construction at north Pembina...

Is it possible C6 will become law by July 1

I don't think the submitted apps will be returned. Based on my experience with CIC/IRCC, they take the applications as either previous law or new law! If I was applying next week, frankly I would pray that bill doesn't become law for another 3 months. Let my application reach a certain stage...

Is it an offence to advise in forum

I think that's just a BIG BS!! Even IRCC has forms asking if you sought help from friends and family filling the form for you, then submit one more document.... Why would IRCC do it, if it wasn't allowed. IRCC wants people to be able to fill the forms themselves without needing to pay anyone...

MARCH Applicant for citizenship March , 2017

I had my citizenship test today. At thee d of test I got a paper from them with some instructions. One instruction was, if you don't have PR card, then make sure you have proof of loss of PR card(like a police complaint letter or something) If you get those other things organized, then you...

    Winnipeg - 2017 Citizenship Applicants

Thank you. Our batch was the first for the day at 8:15 am, with about 14-17 people. We left around 9:20, and by that time more people had come outside; so perhaps another batch was about to start soon.

MARCH Applicant for citizenship March , 2017

Hey all. Me and my wife had our citizenship test today. Super easy based on all the efforts we put in our studies. 30 min test, done in like 2 minutes. 20/20 score. The interview was just a chitchat about weather, "what do you do", and the most common that we get "Why winnipeg among all skills...

    Winnipeg - 2017 Citizenship Applicants

Had our citizenship test today at Victory building ..... both me and my wife passed :)! And the officer said at the end that we will get our oath invite in 3-5 months. I did ask about Canada Day oath, but that seems unlikely given the timeline. So another waiting period starts now!!

Looking at the timelines for past few months, the inprogress status came usually in a weeks time. So, hopefully sometime by next week... would be my guess. All the best!
