Well, no wonder SDS applications are moving slower. They don't seem to be aware of VAC openings/closures country wise for applications they have received from other country's for processing.

SDS? And was it without any update (medical, biometrics, etc.) too?

Once you get the study permit then only you'll be able to apply for PGWP after your program finishes. All these rules apply with the condition that you ultimately get the study permit.

Let's see. Looking forward to it. Hopefully, you'll get it soon too.

They asked to provide either one of these.

Just relax a bit. It could be incidental that the particular girl received the AIP letter and the generic email as did others around the same time. Even those who already had the AIP got this generic mail. So, nothing exceptional in that letter.

I applied in July and received this email too. But as I said before these people are working quite randomly at the moment. So, maybe the mail scheduler is sending out this generic mail slowly in a gradual manner.

Yeah, quite a bizarre way of functioning.

On the previous webinars they had mentioned that SDS and non-SDS files would be treated on par but SDS of course gets an edge as they submit most of the documents upfront. They seem to be working against their very own logic lol

Does anyone know any SDS applicant who has received an AIP in recent days? From what I see on the forum and also among my friends is non-SDS files getting processed and picked up these days.

Don't overthink. They are working in a very haphazard manner as we all know.

Yeah, all these updates today as the fall semester is about to start and students were getting restless regarding the applications. In a way trying to re-assure everyone.

Just got the mail. So, sending it out slowly. Everyone will get it then.
