Not quite so. The friend I've mentioned in my previous post was processed by the LVO.

@Kafil, I guess that the time taken depends upon individual VOs too (workloads etc). Well I satisfy both those points that you've mentioned and I don't think that it matters much. There's not much one can do apart from wait and hope for the best. Good luck to you!

The timeline seems to be very variable. May I ask you where you're from? Does it take time for background checks etc?

Hi guys, I just have a single empty page remaining in my passport. I have already received my PER and I am waiting for the MR request. I was thinking of getting my passport renewed before the MR request comes in and then sending the London VO a case-specific inquiry with my new passport...

Thanks vind. Although I was referring to an e-mail I received in reply to an inquiry e-mail I had sent to CIO earlier. I just received the PER e-mail about 20 minutes ago.
