Nothing mentioned regarding the documents. Just asked to allow 8 weeks before contacting again. So it looks like it'll take awhile before they come back, since you've been waiting since November.

No one seems to know the basis on which applications are processed. It's clearly not done on a FIFO basis. I am also an applicant under NOC 2172, and received my PER on Oct 4. No news since then. And I have no clue as to when I can expect my MR :P

No idea! The LVO has very variable timelines. Looks like it depends on the officer that processes your file. I'm a June 9 applicant with PER on Oct 4. No updates on ECAS yet and no MR! :( Thanks.

Thanks Papillon! I've sent in all the PCCs required. I know that they are slow but they seem to be very varied in their response times, which is what got me worried. A colleague of mine got his MR and PPR in 3 weeks from LVO! :o

Guys, I am getting a little worried about the status of my application. I received my PER on Oct 4 and since then there's been no news from LVO. Any idea? The only issue that I can think of is that my wife and I have spent more than 6 months in 3 countries. Will that delay the background...

This information was very helpful. +1 to you! I guess that the IPAs at the LVO are quite slow to process NOC 2172. Been waiting for my MR for more than 2 months :'(
