red.mystry you are suppose to submit pcs from all the countries you've lived in, not cities. so, if all of your residence was in india in past 10 years, regardless of the cities, you are fine with submitting one pc, issued by the police in the city, where you are registered with your permanent...

tomsware, regarding your question about usa pc... just go ahead and fill out their app form which you can find on the fbi website. along with that send fingerprints card, and you will receive your pc shortly, 4 weeks top. at least, that was my experience.

chdblr11, i think you will be fine even if you apply late sept.. there are only two NOCs filled, and maybe two more will be filled soon... so, you're fine, i'm sure you'll fall under 300 cap in your NOC and even under 5.000 app of this year.. good luck!

so that means they will be assessing 5.000 apps which first arrived, no matter under which NOC, but no more than 300 per NOC, that is on the first come-first serve basis?

i have another question... since on the cic site they say they will accept 300 apps per occupation, and no more than 5.000 total, what is the criteria? since there are 24 occupations they are accepting, and 24*300 equals 7.200, what's the deal?
