I am worried about the same. I have not worked for almost 3 years while living in Mexico. But I have never been on any social assistance or any sort like that. Although I did have my savings that I provided but I don't think that would even matter as you said there is no income requirement.

I was told it takes 60 days after AOR on another forum.... My AOR came 15 days early so I am hoping that is the same case with SA!

okay so the email I received today WAS AOR correct??? So many different answers....some say my app can still be sent back some say my app has already been checked for completeness... Anyways I guess I will just wait and see! Thanks

Guys!! I just got my AOR! Application was sent on January 8th,2016 and application was received January 11th,2016!!! So happy!! I also got my UCI number as well along with the email! Now approximately how long until SA?

I am hoping for the same! I sent mine on Jan 8th. Hoping to get one by the end of the week. I actually have a countdown on my phone ... I calculated 63 days from the time I sent it and according to the countdown there are 18 days until I am suppose to receive AOR but hoping to get it this week!!

Any little bit helps! They just want to make sure you are actually going to return to Canada( they pretty much do not want your husband to live there without you being there that is why) good luck!!

Hello, If it does not ask for it on the immigration guide or checklist I do not think it is necessary to send. But if it were to give you a peace of mind it would not hurt to send a copy but is not necessary. If they want a copy they will request it. Hope that helps!
