Hi everyone

My wife is Canadian citizen and we're doing an outland spousal application since Im from Guatemala were we currently live with our 3 kids. In the checklist it asks us for proof that she intends to go live in Canada with her spouse (me) once he becomes a permanent resident. What documents should we give them or how can we prove that to be our intention?
Also is there an income requirement that we must provide or job employment information? What if she is not working and hasn't been working for the past 5-6 years?

Thank you very much

For the intention of residing back in Canada I honestly did not include much, I included :

1) letter from my sister stating we will be living with her until we get a place of our own also a letter from my parents stating they will help us financially if we needed help.
2) I provided chat logs of conversations I have had with family and friends talking about plans of when we get to Canada
3) My( sponsor) flight itinerary( I am going back to Canada before my husband so I can get things established and set up. I only included flight because I lacked other evidence

Other evidence could include:

- job offer
- you can show that you have been searching for jobs/houses etc
- maybe show you have been researching schools for your children
- show that your bank account is still active in Canada

As for your other question I am not 100% sure.

For the second question, there is no actual income requirement, but you must be able to show how you two will support yourselves and your family upon returning to Canada. Meaning, you must prove you will not need welfare. You can do this by showing savings, job possibilities, family members assistance and so on.
