That is right, the minimum would be 10K... but the more you show, the better.

I would say just wait, I read there are updates for those that applied on March.

I applied on paper through VAC on March 27th, they told me it is faster. 2 days ago I got the request to do Medical exams. Stay positive, you may have an answer pretty soon!

They analize case by case, so yours may be more complicated...

I was on a similar situation and decided to just get a new passport. I read about it and got recommendations to better get a new passport. Otherwise you will have to go through the process again and pay fees, etc., you may even get refused based on whatever can happen while you are in Canada...

If you have more I think you have to print a new page and fill the part you need. They will give you permission up to 3 years and equaling the number of years you have studied.

It depends on the college/university, some are faster than others! But if you are concerned that they are taking too long, you should follow up. Mine got delayed because they didn't register the payment... I know they may take around 1 month. Stay strong!
