Degree Question; Keep it or dump it? Seniors please comment

You are covered! Mine is tricky because I have one ECA report with the same ECA number for both masters and bachelors. Even if I want, I can not take the bachelors off of my profile because the ECA report that I will upload will have a record it.

Degree Question; Keep it or dump it? Seniors please comment

My wife has her master's and bachelor's degree both evaluated from WES (one document with common ECA#), but as she does not have her bachelor's degree certificate with her, do you recommend that we remove this information from her profile (can’t move it to personal history as it was more than 10...

EE not asking for PCC; Seniors please help

Thank you for being the stress reliever :) What is your take on the travel history section? Personally going by just what CIC requires, which is, "Provide details of any trips taken outside his/her country of origin or of residence", I would say it is not required to list visits to your home...

EE not asking for PCC; Seniors please help

Thanks @DelPiero07. So as there is no placeholder, basically force upload it in the LOE section with an LOE? I have to provide LOE for a couple of other things also, so hopefully it will not be a conflict or get lost in between LOEs. What do you think about the idea of uploading two PCCs in the...

EE not asking for PCC; Seniors please help

Thanks for responding. Yes, I completed my bachelors in my home country and then moved out. It has been more than 10 years that I have moved out of my home country. Just go there for visits every once in a while.

UCI# during and after profile creation

we have two profiles, one in which I am the primary and the other in which I am the dependent. For both these profiles, I had selected “NO” to the option “have you applied to IRCC before” and enetered nothing for UCI #. Recently received ITA for profile 2, and I could see a UCI # for that...

Canada Move Discussion (2014 FSW - People in USA on H1B)

Very well put up and you almost spoke my mind. Believe me or not, but I am in a identical situation. Regarding Canada PR, I know I have a year to a land after I get the PR card and then in next 5 years I have to be in Canada for total of around 2 or 3 years. So I have time to think and take the...

Canada Move Discussion (2014 FSW - People in USA on H1B)

At the moment I am just thinking of the Canada PR as an immigration insurance. God forbid, but in case something goes wrong here, I have something to fall back on. If I get my GC and my wife gets a job by this year or the next then we will not move to Canada.

Canada Move Discussion (2014 FSW - People in USA on H1B)

This is scary as I have not been able to decide as well. My main concern with a Canada move is the cost of living. From the research that I have done, I have seen that Canada is outrageously expensive. Some of my concerns as compared to US are: - Real estate prices are highly inflated. - Car...

Was detained for one night and got a ticket for alleged DUI, trouble for FSWP?

Did this happen in USA? just as FYI, DUI is considered as a felony of the highest degree. It is not a petty crime or offence. But in your case, as you were discharged without any charges being pressed, I think you will be okay.

FSW 2014 December - Last Batch

I think, as George said, they are done with their completeness checks. Between Dec 22nd and January 2nd, there were only 5 working days assuming Dec 24th and Dec 31st to be full working days. This means that they are typically taking around <5 working days to perform the completeness checks...
