I am Feb 09 2018, transferred to local office at BC. Medical passed on 24th Jun 2019. ADR submitted on 19th Jun 2019. No update since... hopefully not in Security Screening... I do not want another 12-15months for this damn SS thing... My background is super simple and clean.

no answer, different ppl have different answer, you will know when it is your turn. some poeple get extended before expired. some is after, some just do not need to extend and get ppr. hehehe

security screening... it is a deep security check out of control of IRCC... will take long time... additional 6month - 18months usually but some even 4 years. and you can do nothing about it

but for me, the background is always in process since AOR on MyCIC. but when order a note, it is not started. i have to call them or order notes to get the real update. is your file currently in vancouver to process ?

Is it consistent with your mycic online account ??? or this information is only accessible when calling them or thru the automated messaging system when call them?

how did you know when your background check started ? did you call cic/order notes or you just see it from your online mycic account ???

if you are really in security screening, it means it will take 6 months to 2 years to finish this part, some edge case to 4 years. and it is beyond cic's control. and you can do nothing about it, only wait. if you do not have problem, it is just a matter of time. you will finally get pr.

It is just nothing. three of my friends got PPR just 1 month after changed to IP. what about me ... sigh...
