I 100% agree with you. I do think that they dont want it to get to 12 months and they were targeting a Aug 1st date where they will speed things up and get back on track.... Thats why they jumped it to July 30th even though ppl from July 29 and 30th have not got AIP's and thats why they left it...

Omg its at July 30th!! at least its moving!! slow as hell but any progress is better than no progress. Lets hope that they are going to be shifting resources from temp / working holiday visa's to inland PR apps Aug 1st since there's only a month of summer left and most of the summer apps...

I dont know anything about the LMO process? is that a visa? is it a way to apply for PR? is there a difference betwen LMO and LMIA? or are they the same thing. I'm sure her manager at her school doesnt have a clue how LMO's work but i'm also sure that they WOULD do an LMO for her if we covered...

I hear what you're saying.....but i meant that she could be the nanny for my brothers baby..he's paying someone 1200 a month to watch his kid, she could do that.... but the problem is that they probably wont hold her job at her school

I"m thinking maybe..just maybe... they shifted 90% of their resources to processing summer visa applications and working holiday visas because there is a lot of money to be made there during summer months May June July .. Maybe... on August 1st, they'll have finished the bulk of summer visa...

Me and my Common-law partner are waiting for AIP and the open work permit. Her post grad work permit expires in November.... I read that it is a good idea to apply for a temporary status application so that we have implied status in case we dont get AIP / OWP before her current PGWP...

ahhh so outland applicants can not apply for an OWP with 1st stage approval.. good to know It doesnt matter anyways, we've already applied outland..... only 2 months of applications ahead of us... so we might as well wait. Ive never really read up on LMO. How does that work? An employer...
