No worries, you were just trying to help. Out of interest, where does it state that IEC work permits are not eligible for implied status, I can't find it anywhere I have resent my application with a bank draft and covering letter but there's no chance of it being taken care of now, I guess I...

    Couple of Questions (CEC related)

OK this is news to me... So how would I go about doing this. someone mentioned above in the thread that I should apply for BOWP via the paper method as opposed to online as it takes longer, and by the time it comes through I should have my AOR. How does it work with my SIN number etc. as that...

    Couple of Questions (CEC related)

Thanks for your advice mesumrivzi but I don't think that's an option for me, I can't stay in canada and not work for three months in the hope that I 'might' get an open work permit at the end of it. It makes more sense to head back to UK and work while it gets taken care of :(

    Couple of Questions (CEC related)

Its too late now, I had them cancel as someone was trying to use it. They have sent me a new card and that side of things are fine. The issue is that CIO couldn't process my payment and have sent my application back so I have to re-apply. Another question - My application form states a UCI...

Thanks for the replies everyone, I'm trying to remain calm and composed. The fact that my current work visa expires on 26th December doesn't help. I've emailed twice now and got the automated response, in my latest email I also mentioned that I'll be sending in an amended payment form today...

Advice Needed - Credit Card used to pay PR application fee has been compromised

Thanks for the bump Arowberry, it seems there is no way to contact them, even in emergencies. The CIC helpline was useless, just told me to email the generic address. I'm going to send in amended payment details today with a note on the front of the envelope and a cover letter inside. I don't...

Thanks for the replies guys, its obvs my fault but to me it just doesnt make sense that if everything else is ok and a payment is declined they send the app bac. A simple phonecall and everything could have been taken care of... I guess that makes too much sense though, especially for an...
