Just crazy! I don't even understand how they can screw it up so badly! The inland applications and outland applications don't even go to the same address!! At least now it's only 10 days away, that is great news. :)

So happy to hear that he received encouraging words... it is a stressful time, and that encouragement means a lot. I know my husband is so nervous for the interview. We are hoping that it gets waived. P.S. thank you for your kind words and understanding. Not many people can understand how...

They charge. It was 405CUC for adults and 205CUC for children under 12 (I think 12 is the cutoff). This needs to be paid at a specific bank in Havana prior to going to the exam (the day before).

Thanks again for your update... I am (excessively) checking ECAS for an update, and knowing that you've actually reached 'decision made' without the status changing also makes me feel sooo much better about the fact that I have seen no change on ECAS in months! I am so excited for you both and...

How long ago was it that your friend went though this process? I know that there was a time (applications submitted late 2013) that they were making it through very quickly. Unfortunately, it does not appear to be the case now, but hopefully that will change and we will all get approved VERY...

I'm not sure, but I do know that the RPRF needs to be paid before they look at your application now, as it is non-refundable at this point. (once the SA is approved). According to everything I read, it suggested paying it up front to avoid delays, so that is what I did... I have had zero...

Thank you for the reply MrsTrejo. Everything that I saw about police certificates on the immigration site did not refer to the expiry date (6 months from issue), but rather that the certificate as not older than 3 months when the application is received. It's pretty much impossible for the PC...

    Havana,Cuba Visa Office 2013 Applicants

Does anyone know of, or heard of, a spouse being contacted by a previous employer as part of the immigration process? I'm thinking that the telegram my husband got is unrelated, but not sure. He quit his job at the resort before we were married (not allowed being married to a tourist), and now...

    Havana,Cuba Visa Office 2013 Applicants

Interesting, because on the official cuban embassy website, it's 30 days. That is also an old visa, as they stopped asking for address/hotel info a while ago. http://www.cubadiplomatica.cu/canada/EN/ConsularServices.aspx#TouristCard

    Havana,Cuba Visa Office 2013 Applicants

According to the cuban embassy website, the visitors visa is 30 days, and can be re-newed at the hotel or immigration office for another 30 days. As for staying at your husband's house, this needs to be done through the government with a Family Visa (A-2). You can not just stay at his place...
