This is perfectly normal. Don't get overly excited about online status, it seems like it's not always up to date.

I was told by the call center agent that this is the info I should be relying on (I don't think he was confident in his answer).... with that said your right about being suspicious about the timeline since Islamabad's cases have been added to the mix.

You have a very similar timeline as my wife. When I check the online status of her case I get the exact same info as you. Based on most of the cases I've been following on this forum, 14-16 months seems to be the average waiting time. Good Luck, inshallah you will be processed soon!

My wife never received the acknowledgment letter, I'm not sure how important it is to receive that letter. OttPilot has been explained in detail in recent previous posts on this thread....

I got my original letter I believe the 28th of December 2011 which approved me to sponsor. It stated that I should contact islamabad to update the file. Throughout the year I emailed chc-I updates, then in august I got an email from chc-I which said they did not have my file and that I should...

Just an FYI... I sent an email to cpp-o to ask if they had the file. They replied in a week and confirmed that they had the application.

Holy smokes! This is some crazy drama.... This is exactly why everyone else who is going through this process should keep your personal info quiet. Just chit chat on the forum but don't talk to people about the case. You really never know who your friends/ enimies are....

No worries, just contact cic and they'll confirm that your application is in Ottawa. I'm in the exact same boat as u, my file is being done processed at the case processing pilot-ottawa. If you want just send cpp-o an email explaining that u believe that your app is there...

Good question, but it's only been 9 months since I received my AOR letter... Inshallah my wife will get her visa sooner then the avg of 16-18 months most people on the forum are taking.

No word, but I recently spoke to the call center and the agent mentioned that the timeline for CPP-O is much shorter than CHC-I (Hopefully it means the process will be a few months quicker now)
