Guys, one question. Can any of September applicants who are CC charged see anything on ECAS?

For those who remember my case: My CC got charged today finally :D (application reached CIO on Sept. 8) And guess what, CIBC did not deactivate my old credit card. They caused me a lot of trouble by lying about deactivation date. But now it is all done. :)

Thanks for your reply pg123. I have tried to update my CC info using couple of methods mentioned in forum. The thing is my old card is still active until the end of this week. And it is weird that I am hearing nothing from CIO. I know a couple of friends from mid September who are not charged yet.

Guys, Thanks for all your replies. I was just talking to CIBC branch. Actually they can not do anything. They called Visa company while I was there and they were told that this is a central decision with no exception. So I think I will try contacting CIO using different ways. Pray for me...

Do you think sending them a physical copy would help ? or should I just send them an email ?

I have a question about posting of physical copy. What should I write on the package ? Any description that this is just a payment form or something like that ?

It is CIBC. I called Visa yesterday and they told me there is no way to keep the old card working beyond that date. It seems to be central...

Thanks for your reply Viva. My Bank sent me a notice that my old card will no longer work after that date and I HAVE to activate the new one... Do you think there is a way to reach CIO and tell them about this issue?

The expiration date is 2016. They suddenly decided to replace cards with new cards which have no benefits over the old ones. It sounds ridiculous but it is true.

The problem is that my bank is going to replace my credit card with a new one soon :( That's why I am a little bit worried.
