I did mine within Canada. Same day we got Medical request, but results were mailed by Doc 7 days later.

@Jaysidhu, mine is also similar timeline. As per email I got today, they are/have dispatched letter for PPR. You should also expect PPR soon. just watch for my posts, you could be next once I get letter. :)

Any suggestion from past history, once Case shows as "Decision Made" in eCas & file is in CPC-O, how long to expect passport request & visa after that.

Do not worry. As long as your father comes back to Canada before PR expires, their is no problem. YOU DO NOT NEED TO RENEW PR TO STAY IN CANADA. You renew PR so you can travel outside Canada, you can live in Canada for 20 years & never renew PR, it is still valid. Once he is back, start...
