I ran into a similar situation for my wife's application. To compensate for a lack of birth certificate we sent her Baptism certificate, Not Found certificate, Affidavit from parents, Grade 10 & 12 certificates and an ID showing her date of birth. All of these documents were notarized.

No they ask everyone for all the old passports as well.

They want to see your current and ALL old passports. Mainly because they want to verify your travel history, if any.

Shivani, ask the doctor's office why NDVO has requested this chest scan. Being a canadian, I know they're very particular about TB here.

Hi All Not sure if everyone is aware but Foreign service workers are on strike at the moment. This is affecting immigration services in a lot of Canadian embassies. I don't know what the exact situation is at NDVO.
