I doubt if CIC will send an AOR by mail too after sending one by email. I just got one in email and that's it.

My case is almost similar to yours. You are right, the online res calc will take the last 4 years only in account. Start with April 12, 2011 and mention till Aug 27, 2011 as out of country. That's how I did for my Citizenship application.

Jassi_Cool - A big NO! CIC will not accept post dated application and will return your application. They will verify the date you mailed the application and the date you signed. Better not do that mistake at this point of time while you are anticipating the new law to be implemented anytime!

Are you talking about the section 6E where you mention the address in past 4 years? If you are out of the country on a vacation for few weeks, you don't need to show that in this section because your primary residence is still in Canada. You just need to mention your absences in the residence...

Same thing happened to me also when I opened the email and attachment in iPhone. Check it in the laptop, it will show the names correctly. ;)

I have got a separate AOR for my kid. Did you fill in email address in your son's application? Sometimes CIC will make a mistake when keying in the email address in the system. Give it a couple more days and call CIC.
