Hi, I received an e-mail from CIC with a UCI code mentioned in it. And my CC has been charged but I have not received the PER e-mail yet. When I tried to check my ECAS status, it says that it cannot find any relevant information. What could the reason be? Should I just wait for the PER e-mail...

I was told that it was better to send in another fresh application. You could do it too and hope that one of them gets through. But @namaste has said that it is not recommended to send in 2 applications for the same NOC. So maybe you could check with more people.

Dude I have mentioned it in my post. I just received the e-mail an hour or so ago. I guess we have a good month or more to go to receive PERs.

Hi Rahul, As far as I understand, the designation does not matter. Your duties reflected in the Work Experience letter provided by your employer must match those specified under the NOC 2172 (at least 80% is what I have been told) Hope this is helpful.

Riyad, It took them over a month to get back to me. I suggest that you send your application asap as they have recommended.

Hi everyone, For settlement funds, I have provided a bank certification letter detailing fixed deposits held jointly by my spouse and her father. Is this accepted by CIC? Will they need proof of funds held only by myself or my spouse? Thanks.
