I'm not sure, but I believe if the father is a Canadian citizen, you and him should go to the closest Canadian Embassy or Consulate to get your son a Canadian birth certificate and a passport.

I'm sorry about that. Did you live in Canada for those 6 years? I am not a expert but I believe I read somewhere that you can become a PR depending on how much time you've spent in Canada. Not sure.. but worth taking a look at that.
