You are absolutely right, but also one thing I have noticed in such cases when you get a DM after In process with date is within a couple of days like a week or so. That means that if the make a decision it will be in a very less time after IN process with date.

Generally, the call comes after your file have reached your respective VO after a PER from Nova Scotia In your case its pretty strange that the call came from an ISD number and on top of that you have still not received your file number.

The In process is the link when clicked takes to you under more detailed description of your file for example, when your file reached the Visa office, when was your AOR done, and may be a line that the file has been reviewed with a processing date.
