    MARCH 2017 *OUTLAND SPOUSAL APPLICANT*

I'm sorry to hear that :( Worst case, you'll have to submit the package again, but there's a multitude of information on this forum, so any questions you may have will surely be answered. As for now, there's nothing more you can do, so don't worry too much about it. I hope it turns out well for you!

JANUARY 2017 - OUTLAND SPOUSAL APPLICANTS

Congratulations! When/where do you plan on landing?

    US outland applicants' thread :)

Ok, then you can use ink if you prefer. :D

    US outland applicants' thread :)

I don't think it matters either way. I'd imagine the live scan prints are cheaper and quicker, but I could be wrong. You can check costs and processing time for your area, but as far as IRCC is concerned, they'll accept a PCC done either way.

    MARCH 2017 *OUTLAND SPOUSAL APPLICANT*

If you met all the requirements to be a sponsor, then don't worry. It takes an average of 22 days to get SA. I've read some scenarios that take 1-2 months, but they get approved before other that got their SA right away. There seems to be plenty of variances from the normal processing times, so...

    US outland applicants' thread :)

I think our timelines are very close. My application was received November 21st and PR app went into process November 30th (though I didn't get SA until December 6th...). My background check just went in process last week, and I haven't received DM yet. My application was as straightforward as...

**NOVEMBER 2016 - OUTLAND SPOUSAL APPLICANTS**

If it doesn't say Decision Made on the PR side in ECAS, you probably haven't received the PPR email yet, but it doesn't hurt to look anyway.

I know, I just wanted to point out that your case seems to be one of the outliers, and that tigermilo shouldn't use that as an example.

    MARCH 2017 *OUTLAND SPOUSAL APPLICANT*

It's not automatically approved, but if they haven't contacted you with questions/concerns, it's most likely approved. Congrats!

Unfortunately, his/her BGC is not in progress, that's why his MyCIC says "the next step is you background check..."

    MARCH 2017 *OUTLAND SPOUSAL APPLICANT*

You should expect to wait a couple months. As your status indicates, the next step is for your background check to begin. When your background check begins to process, your MyCIC will read: "We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information." Since...

    US outland applicants' thread :)

I don't think your timeline is a good example, since you were processed much faster than normal.

    US outland applicants' thread :)

Don't be intimidated by how many pages your application has. Like barch88 said, Quality>Quantity. As far as proof, you don't need those chat logs, there's plenty other ways to show proof. Did you guys call each other? Your phone company will have those records. (I called Verizon and ask for...

    MARCH 2017 *OUTLAND SPOUSAL APPLICANT*

That's pretty normal. I applied November 10th and didn't receive AOR1 until December 1st. You'll probably hear something next week :D

Landing experience - Peace Arch, Surrey BC

I live in Washington state and wanted to land at the Peace Arch, as well. Though, I wasn't sure if I could land there, then drive back into the US and drive to Ontario (it's faster to drive through the US). I'd rather do the whole landing procedure nearby because I wouldn't want to make the...

    MARCH 2017 *OUTLAND SPOUSAL APPLICANT*

Here's where you find panel physicians near you: http://www.cic.gc.ca/pp-md/pp-list.aspx They will give you instructions as far as when they need the medical exam from you and whether you need any additional forms. I used the old application and I didn't need to bring anything with me, but they...

**DECEMBER 2016 - OUTLAND SPOUSAL APPLICANTS**

If it said you're eligible to sponsor your husband, then that's not your AOR1, that's your SA :D. You should either receive an email from your VO saying they've received your PA application, or you'll see an extra line on the applicant side of ECAS saying they've started processing your...
