In my case , in the degree and final year mark sheets , My last name is incorrectly spellt. Dangle instead of Dange ---- definitely a typo here..But do not want to take a chance considering everywhere else I have the correct name.I am also planning to make an affidavit stating the same.BTW ...

@Nkumar : Wats important here is where did u get a call from ? ;D I am a UoA reject (in the pre-screening stage ) so I guess the admits this year are pretty difficult Just an opinion

@Naser --- Once you have submitted ur app , u would have recieved a mail with uname and a pwd to access the Infoweb portal.All the updates regarding your application as well as the progress is present there. The fees is about 6200$ or so

Thanks for the wishes Arvind ... I do agree that Certifications are valued everywhere as a matter of fact.. And I would advice that atleast complete basic certi (CCNA) b4 going for the course as it would make things a lot easier to understand and eventually translate into better grades ...

Problem with UoA is the climate... honestly i know i am not cut out for such a climate so I was secretly happy when they outright rejected me without costing me anything...But anyone who is prepared to slog it out.. there is no better place than Alberta .
