Yes, It seems to take a very long time. The other issue is that they do not update ecas in a timely fashion. So we are blind as to what is the status of our files. They must be short staffed in Philippines.

After looking at spreadsheet I cannot figure out why some people get PPR after 2 weeks and some people get it months later. They said that use of representative does not make it faster but seems that it does.

Congrats! Seems it took less than 2 months after sponsorship approved for you to get Visa. Any advice? My wife is expecting in April and we had sponsorship approved Nov. 4th.

I agree 100% We was faced with same situation and we had to follow rules. My wife also made an appointment for the actual day we got married in advance of my arrival. I always enjoy my visit to Philippines, he should try to spend a few more days and enjoy the weather as it is getting colder here.

Hi All, I spoke with CIC hotline 2 weeks ago and had them check with i.T department. I also kept checking every hour. They advised that they only update ecas once every 24 hours.
