Hi May Ann,
Just want to confirm that they approved sponsorship on Oct 4 2011 by e-mail to you, but they have not asked for your passport yet?

CEM have not contacted you yet?

After looking at spreadsheet I cannot figure out why some people get PPR after 2 weeks and some people get it months later. They said that use of representative does not make it faster but seems that it does.

Hi Girls,

I know how you feel. Ako rin kinakabahan sa PPR letter ko dati.
Don't be scared, Para hindi na kayo kabahan at magkaroon kayo ng peace of mind.
Eto timeline ko for PPR - it almost took me 2 months and 1 week before ko makuha yung letter.
Inapporved husband ko ng Sept 12 tapos nakuha ko lang ngayon yung PPR ko.

Kaya dont be scared at alam ko pinagdadaanan niyo dahil I always checking our mailbox from time to time.

As I said, It tooks me 2 months and 1 week before I received my Passport Request Letter.
When I got home tonight I found the letter.
Don't be scared if you still don't have any letter coming from Manila Embassy.
and don't even compare your application to the other applicants it varies.

My timeline:
Sep 12 - Sponsorship Decision made
Oct 28 - File Transfer
Nov 8 - PPR Date of Letter
Nov 18 - Letter received

* Note: I don't see any problem with my application as they only requesting to fill in the Appendix A and the submit my passport. It took them forever to acknowledged my application.

I hope this can help you and I know how do you feel as well.

Thanks!

Hi,
As of now in my Ecas stating as :
We received your application on July X, XXXX
Medical Received

Nothing else in my ecas, October 28th it shows on the Post Mail Letter that Manila Embassy will mail to you or your partner in Manila.

Maybe next week they will update my Ecas into In process once they will receive my passport but it depends and nobody knows.

Appendix A - The form that attached on the letter (information regarding your Family Member and Passport Numbers)
Nov 18th - It's not visa it only letter to submit my passport.

If you got approved on Nov 4th it may take you awhile to proceed to the next stage ( the Passprt Request Letter)
If you get luck you might receive it next week.

Good Luck and Enjoy each day even waiting is the hardest part to do.
