CIC is causing more and more frustration as we are moving closer to the line. It has been 18 days since ECAS was updated to "Decision Made" but no PPR yet. This wait is seriously killing now. Really hard to understand what CIC is waiting for now. :(

It has been a week since Decision Made on ECAS but still waiting for PPR email. I tried to call to CIC today but didn't go through. Don't know what CIC is waiting for.

I am in Canada. I didn't leave Canada since I applied for PR. I just want to get this messy process to be done before I will go to my home country.

You can call RCMP and leave a voice massage with your name, reason for calling and contact#. They will call you back in 1-2 days and you can confirm with them if they have sent RCMP check to CIC or not. Also, ask them to send you a confirmation email so that you can forward to CIC. Processing...

As email clearly states that From each country/state where the residence period has been six months or longer since the age of 18. Therefore, if you have lived in Canada for more than six months, you have to submit RCMP check.

Yes, I paid $70 for RCMP check. It depends case to case whether CIC requests for RCMP or not. Just wait, you will hear something soon.. Best of luck...
