    Hi everyone I have already been approved for study permit before 18 March. I was wondering what if my IELTS expires before i land in Canada? Do I have to take another IELTS exam if it expires before i can reach canada. This is due to deferral and covid 19 restrictions. Thanks in advance.

    Afaik, they are harrassing only first time travellers, not the ones who have established residence there.IRCC and CBSA live in alternate realities.

    I never said they were different things. Airlines always coordinate with Transport Canada and CBSA and follow their advise. Its mentioned on IRCC website as well. Just wait for them to update instructions on non/essential and essential travel for Int. Students on their program delivery page. We...

    Boarding. Its essentially the same thing. Airline officials talk with CBSA and ultimately its CBSA denying boarding.

    Many students from india who are attending their online classes for May intake were denied. That won't be a reason to be allowed entry.

    I came across another person who tweeted to IRCC about being detained by CBSA on June 4 and then sent back to South Carolina the next day. They even took her passport. Nobody knows what's going on. Lets just wait for official update.
