Just got off the phone with a CIC agent. Eligibility is passed (finally!), and so is criminality. Security hasn't started yet. I've been under review required for eligibility (employment) for what felt like ages! I saw an update on my profile y'day, so called them up today. Took me 5 attempts...

It's called case specific enquiry. Fill in your details including UCI and application number and then it'll ask you if you want to attach any documents.

that's annoying. I've had similar issues where I'd sent those documents and in the notes, analyst says documents missing. It's really frustrating.

Yes, i had i show my ita to BLS as well. The police certificate is processed pretty quickly - i think my passport was stamped in less than 2 weeks.

You can always include them and they can land later. Please bear in mind that sponsorship is a lengthy process unlike express entry.

What do your gcms notes say? I received my 2nd set and there's been no change. My application has been gathering dust since Oct.

Another thing: minors don't need a study permit if accompanying a parent who has legal status in Canada. Once she receives her TRV, it should include a line about: allowed to elementary/middle school. That way, she'll be a non-fee-paying international student. You might also have to register...

Most elementary schools are public here, and education is free, unless you choose to send her to a private one. Typical documents include birth certificate (in English with parents' name clearly mentioned), passports for all (her and you both), legal status in Canada for all 3, immunization...
