I think you can call CIC customer services if you are in Canada. It would be a lot faster than contacting Ottawa. I wrote Ottawa in Aug and they replied me in Oct, requesting more documents... sigh..

It should mean you are categorized as FSW1 and you applied between Jul, 2010 to Jun, 2011. Having a permanent job in Canada does not grantee you can be classified in FSW2. I applied as FSW3 at that time and when I received my ME form, it showed FSW1 for me and I do have a permanent job in...

I checked you can only call CIC call centre if you are within Canada. I noticed there are some people on the forum wrote to different consulates in the US. Maybe you can try that. Nowadays, you never know which office is better... Anyway, good luck pal!

Hi Jeevan, Did you try to call CIC? I called CIC and they told me that my file is in Ottawa right now. They said they might transferred some to other consulates. Hope they can tell from their system. FSWCEC
