You should. Just send them a email to CPC-CTD-Ottawa @ cic.gc.ca quoting your application #, DOB, UCI and inform them the change. They will reply with instructions. Regards

I saw other posts that RAMQ (Quebec) won't renew health insurance card based on BOWP. If it is a general open work permit, then it should be not a problem. That's what i want to know. In case I cannot renew mine, I would want my spouse to be covered by it.

For those who applied for BOWP and OWP for their spouses, what kind of work permit the spouse is getting? I mean, what's the code it's written on the permit. I know BOWP is 27, is spouse's OWP the same? Please advise!

Yes. Principle applicant can add spouse for open work permit. The application is together, but once transmitted, they will give two file numbers.
