32 hours in enough but don't sign up for EI. Your application will be affected as far as I know. By signing up for EI, you are being a liability on the Canadian government and that might deem you not eligible for PR. I asked this question in one of SINP's sessions at my work place and I have paraphrased the answer for you. Hope it helps.

P.S. I asked this about CIC from one of SINP's representative. I am pretty sure what he told me was right. After all SINP deals with CIC all the time.

Thank you for your reply. I understand about finger print request now but I have one more question. I heard we got to submit our Police clearance from our home country too which I couldn't submit with the application. So, my lawyer said we would submit when CIC will ask but I never got that request too. Is that normal?

Usually CIC will request those documents at some point, your lawyer is right. I have had quite a few people in the QSW thread who were asked to submit an updated FBI clearance for example, since the one they submitted expired throughout the process. So be prepared for them to ask for it at some point. You may be lucky but usually they do. Just order it in time so that you have it at hand the moment they ask for it. This will prevent any unnecessary delays in the process of your application.

I am OCT 2014 applicant and currently in Canada. My work permit expires in May 2015 and I have applies for BWOP in end of April. Due to an emergency I have to go to back home for 2-3 months. Can I enter in Canada if I receive the BWOP? Is there anything else I need to consider before I leave.

Hi,
you can use your BWOP for entering Canada if you travel by car from the US only. Otherwise you need TRV in order to enter Canada (unless you are from visa exempted country).

It's really not going to happen for now. August has barely begun to receive theirs so I'd say we have another two to three months wait for such things.

If I were you and finance is not an issue, I would go with Express Entry for sure. Given the score you have, which is way above the ITA score, you probably will land as PR even before we get MR if everything went smooth. The fact that applicants get PR after two months since they received ITA is so tempting...

You should. Just send them a email to CPC-CTD-Ottawa @ cic.gc.ca quoting your application #, DOB, UCI and inform them the change. They will reply with instructions.

CEC is running a month and half behind FSWP...One of my friend from India got her medicals on 24th April and her file reached CIC on 12th Sep...Another point that I noticed that Delhi visa ofice has started sending files to other visa officies like Srilanka and Poland to compensate the load....She got her request from Poland.....

I hope that even Ottawa should adopt some of these efficient methods to speed up the process.....
