Hi. It really depends on what your visa office requires you to do. I have a misspelled middle name too, on my birth certificate. But my visa office only requires that I submit an affidavit to explain the discrepancies. You can check it here under Part 3: Information Guides...

You have to wait for AOR (Acknowledgement of Receipt) from CIC to either your email (that is if you wrote one) or by snail mail.

Yes. Because it is one of the details that you have to supply when you log in.. But usually, after you receive your UCI, you cannot login right away.. Give it a day or two. :)
