It should be from the day it was received in Vienna, not when they started processing.

As far as I know they will not e-mail either one of you. You should have received an e-mail when they received your application..., and that's it. If any documents are needed they will e-mail only the sponsored spouse. The "in process" status apears on e-cas when they start processing your...
