I hear ya! it will be 5 months since my SA the following Monday (26th). The processing time posted is 9 months, and that's once it hits Havana, so I know we still have a ways to go. Of course, hoping for a miracle that it will come sooner is always on my mind ;)

Haven't heard a thing... requested another set of notes. It will be interesting to see what (if anything) has been done since my last notes. Seems like the only way to get any info is to order the notes. TOTALLY worth 5$!

Based on this article, I would not hold my breathe on getting a response from the honorable Chris Alexander. http://www.thestar.com/news/canada/2015/01/09/chris_alexander_helped_bureaucrats_avoid_giving_full_details_on_visa_wait_times.html

Let us know what your MP says... Basically, as I understand it, there isn't anything they will do until it has exceeded the processing time (9 months for PR in Havana)

you will have a UCI (for SA) and your husband will have his own. Is this his UCI maybe and the AOR for PR? Where was the AOR from? Mississauga or Havana? Maybe they need to issue you a new UCI because of the inland/outland mess up.

So 2 out of 4 passed! Half way there. Yeah, all my "due dates" are in the past (sept). as long as it's not something that we didn't send by the due date... whatever. Clearly those dates don't mean much.

That's great!!! i'd take a "passed" on anything at this point. What about the other points (criminality, security, medical?)

On page 2, there is a section called ASSESSMENTS. As far as I can tell, there are "tasks" (Eligibility, Security, Criminality and Medical). Only the ones with a status of "in progress", (or complete??) will have details further into the notes. Further on (mine is on page 7, but your could...

We could send it regular cuban post, but i'm not sure i trust it. Even DHL "lost" 2 out of 3 packages we sent. Luckily with the travking number it got sorted out after 1.5 months for 1 and 2 months for the other. I guess it will be DHL. Do i wait for them to request it, or just send it?

Such a pain that it has to be dropped off. Being 18 hours away makes it really difficult. That was the biggest reason we were hoping the interview would be waived, because now it means more trips to havana. I am do frustrated and fed up... thank goodness i will be seeing him soon, because right...

Questions for all of you: Seeing as we know that they will be requesting the additional info for schedule A, would you send it (via the Case Specific Enquiry – Havana web portal)? or wait for the phone call? How would my husband get the information to the VO? He lives too far to go there to...

OMG! the speed that they talk! Even when my husband speaks English (and when he attempts french) he talks way too fast. LOL. I understand a lot of his friends better than him, just because they say words... not an entire sentence that sounds like one long word!!

I'm with you! I just watch body language and try and catch a few words that I recognize from English or French. My husbands would like me to learn, but he's the WORST teacher.

Thanks, but no, we will be in Banes (1 1/5 hrs from Holguin) My father-in-law is very sick, so my husband needs to stay close to home, but his place is very full (mother, step-father- who had a stroke last year and needs special care, his brother, nephew, nephew's wife and 1 year old), all in a...
