As long as I have a divorce certificate I can marry - I just can't get divorced in Canada until I have been separated from my ex-husband for a full year!

Sorry, one more question....should we get his medical's done prior to submitting the application? Will it speed up the process? I know that they do have a period of time that they are valid, so we don't want to do them too early. Any thoughts are appreciated!

That information is not on your drivers license, so they can't access that information from there.
