To decide if your letter is good or not: -You should check if you have the lead statement for your NOC code explicitly and also a substantial number of main duties (around 80% of them) in your ref. letter. - Make sure your ref. letter is dated and is on the company letterhead. - You should...

So, you passed eligibility (including the fund assessment). It takes one month to get GCMS notes. There is no way to get them quicker. You have two options: 1. You can take a risk and try your chance: don't send any POF (ignore the request) and hope that they sent the POF request by mistake or...

I can clearly see that there is a subsection called fund assessment under eligibility section in my GCMS which has the value " met".

Isn't it mentioned in the RPRF request that you were found eligible in the class? I think that you passed eligibility and the fund assessment is a part of eligibility assessment which is already met. You'll probably get medical request tomorrow. Maybe they sent this doc request by mistake. You...

Under CEC, there is a rule saying that the work experience gained at the same time with study doesn't count. There is not such a rule under FSW but officers are not happy about 40 hour RAs and try their best to find a hole and reject such applications for other reasons.

The problem is how you can update your ref. Letter without contradicting what you already said. You mentioned in your first letter that you worked 40 hours as an RA and now you are going to say that you worked for example 20 hours as an RA and 20 hours on your thesis. (The hours you worked on...

If Sydney accept your application, you will receive an email from Sydney (PER) and your file number is in it. It usually takes between 2 weeks to 3 months (maximum).

Good point. Applicants used to claim usually 20-25 hours for RA before May 2013 when the rules changed. The full time work experience was 40 hours before May 2013 not 30 hours. If you need the points, you can risk and claim 30 hours RA with a solid ref. letter (and maybe 10-15 hours for your...
