Hi echoes1978, I'm in the same boat as you (hopefully the one heading to Canada though!). My app reached CIO July 6th and no CC payment made by CIO as yet. But it seems lots of other people are the same (well, from viewing the spreadsheet of forum members and there 's only a few who have had...

Richardo, I do not agree. The websites states: Applications that are received by the Centralized Intake Office (CIO) on or after November 14, 2011 that have not been prepared using the updated Instruction Guide and the Document Checklist (IMM 5612), will be returned as incomplete. Note: As of...

At least they try a few times. Which means that after the first unsuccessful time, probably due to the fact that it turns into a pending transaction whilst the fraud department of your CC company get in touch with you to authorise large payment from Canada, if they try again (and providing that...

I wonder how many of us gave credit card details as opposed to attaching bankers drafts? Going the CC route seemed easier for me, as I'd have to cash in again if my application was unsuccessful.

Phil, that's actually a good point. I think the only real way that you will be able to determine whether your credit card has been charged is if you call them and check, rather than check it online.

Am feeling the same, but don't give up hope just yet. I so want them to take the credit card payment. I am even checking my spam email to see if they have sent anything. I've already been rejected before for missing out one form field, so I really hope the same doesn't happen again :( The...

Thank you westpoint, for your valuable input and for confirming various points! And comforting to hear that you too have selected "never married" for children. Do you remember where you saw this guidance? I just can't seem to find it, even though I remember seeing it and thus following it and...

This is a bit of a strange one, but on one of my forms I indicated that my son's marital status (he's 1!) is "never married" as I am almost 100% positive that this was one of the options I had to choose from and there wasn't anything like "single", strangely. I've looked at the new guide pack...

shijoal - you haven't posted any of your details on this thread yet, how come? Also, can anyone confirm whether they take the fees anyway, regardless of progressing your application or not ie. are the fees non-refundable? I read two conflicting bits of info on the website.

Hi alaindotcom Yep, I hear what you are saying about having a last minute panic. I checked over my app so many times, and worryingly kept finding wee things to tidy up, but overall I'm happy with the final pack. There were a lot of documents! I feel like I know the application forms and process...

Thanks nish & westpoint for adding to spreadsheet - will check it out. Btw, have any of you had a look at trackitt.com/canada-immigration-trackers/federal-skilled-workers - it's an online immigration tracker, which I've also added my details too, as well as checking this forum. They have as yet...
