Is there any harm in ordering GCMS again. Mine had a download date of March 25th, i guess if it is not an issue, I should ask for another update in a week or so. Its going to get very tight with Meds expiring in August.

It says at the start App Status: Open App Status Reason: In Progress So I believe they put "Decision Made" on ECAS while the real status is "In-Progress"

I received the GCMS notes, still not done going through all of the 49 pages, but the important things I see is Medicals- Passed, Security checks- Passed. It says for NEXT STEPS: FILE is RFV...any idea what RFV refers to.

Do we send follow up email to same address that we originally submitted request for GCMS? I am also waiting for approx 30 days now,but think since they said 30 Business days which is like 40 calender days.

If I use my Father's UCI it shows Indian address, whereas if I use mine (sponsor) I see canadian address on both sponsor and applicant.

I can understand what you might be feeling. Don't loose heart though. There are other ways if this does not work. The student visa these days is relatively relaxed. You could try that in case immigration thing with family don't work out.

Only thing that seems justified is that if the dependent stopped studying after he/she turned 22. Then it might make sense. It seems a relatively simple rule for an immigration consultant to mess up on, unless of course he is extremely unqualified to be in that job.
