When did you apply? What is the online status..we have couple of people here with similar situation. Only bad thing we have seen (like in my case) they change status to "decision made" from ottawa at times and take a while then to return passport.

Indeed my case is different, most of processing including medical request happened through Ottawa. Have been waiting on passport since Oct 2012. Also waiting on MP office reply. Either way, my case should not make other people loose heart as most of people I hear have got processing through ND...

I guess you are right. It would be futile to draw some trends out of what happens with these applications. MP office said its taking lot longer for ND to even reply to their queries. Around 1 month now as against 2-3 days in past. So there is really no way out other than just wait and wait.

Indeed I think it would have been better if my file was not actually transferred to the Pilot project in Ottawa as I see people who applied after me getting visa whose file got processed in New Delhi only. I have tried all the things I could, GCMS notes, talking to MP, sending emails. Waiting...

What is your ECAS status showing? From what I have checked, the Visas are approved at Ottawa but printed at New Delhi and that is where the delay happens. I have similar scenario. My GCMS notes show visa has been issued at Ottawa in Oct 2012 but not printed yet..Hopefully yours will go faster...

67 months here and there has been no issues from my side either, no dna, no medical / security issues and no dependents. Just parents. I do agree they lie when they say working on sep 2007 files, when 2008 apps are already getting visas.

Most of times it would mean your medicals are clear. PP request is all case by case, some people are asked very close to medical request, like I did. Based on average you should be able to get visa in 4-5 months max.

Just read the details of this and as people feared, its going to become very difficult now to sponsor parents. Now sponsor would have to show income proof over 3 years before even applying, and that income is 30% more than current. So basically a new immigrant has to wait about 4 years before...
