    Thanks for your thoughts..under normal situation 45 days is loads of time...but in our case I was hoping to do some travel with my wife outside PH in early January...ans giving them her passport totally messes up that idea!

    Dan thats crazyyy....what I'm wondering is how long do WE have to give them the passport if we ever do get a request for it...so what IF she needed it for travel or work? She's SOL?? RIDICULOUS that they can ask for it and not use it..
