No, you can not. Visa expires either with the medical expiry or with the expiry of passport (Whichever comes first). So you have to land before the expiry of your passport.

earlier when I sent a case specific inquiry, they said "You may resend your enquiry after October 2010 if you have not received any correspondence from our office." So should i send a case specific inquriy again?
